What is Talktomydocument?
Talktomydocument is a bootstrapped software business based in Indonesia, founded by Purbohadi Utomo. Our current product is Scan & Parse, a web app for capturing receipts and turning them into useful expense records.
How do I start using Scan & Parse?
Open Scan & Parse and sign in with Google. You can take or upload a receipt photo, review the suggested details, and save the approved record to your account.
Why does the app use Google permissions?
Google sign-in identifies your account. If you choose to connect Google Sheets, the app uses Google Drive and Sheets permissions to create and update its receipt spreadsheet in your Drive. Sheets sync is optional. The app's privacy policy explains the data it processes.
Can I correct the extracted receipt details?
Yes. You can edit the suggested fields before saving. AI can misread receipts, so review the merchant, date, currency, line items, and total before approving a record.
Is Claude already integrated?
Claude integration is planned. We want to evaluate Claude's vision capabilities for receipt extraction across different layouts and languages, with structured validation and user review. The current product already offers AI-assisted receipt parsing; Claude does not yet power the live app.
